1 — Scope and who this is from
loopSEO (loopseo.org) is operated by loopSEO; you can reach us at [email protected]. This notice applies to California residents who use loopSEO, buy a subscription, or visit loopseo.org. Where the CCPA applies, it works alongside the rest of our privacy documentation; nothing here limits your rights under it.
2 — Categories of personal information involved
In the last 12 months, the service has involved these CCPA categories:
- Identifiers — name, email address, account identifier (you give these at registration).
- Commercial information — your subscription plan and billing status.
- Internet / network activity — sign-in sessions and technical logs of how the service ran on your account.
- Inferences — none about you as a person. Page performance scores are computed about your websites, from data of the Search Console property you connected; that's your business data, not a profile of you.
- Sensitive personal information — none by design. We ask for no credentials beyond the application password and API keys you choose to connect, which are service configuration, kept encrypted.
3 — Why it's used
To provide and maintain the service you bought, process billing through our Merchant of Record, secure accounts against abuse, provide support, and keep the business records the law requires. That's the list — no behavioural advertising, no building dossiers, no selling.
4 — We do not sell or "share" personal information
We have never sold personal information and don't "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those words are defined in the CCPA. There is no third-party advertising technology on loopSEO, so there is nothing to opt out of — the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" right is satisfied by the fact of the matter, not by a link that pretends otherwise.
5 — Your rights, and how to use them
- Right to know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, and with whom it's been shared.
- Right to delete — have it deleted, subject to the legal-records exceptions (invoices, for instance, must stay).
- Right to correct — fix inaccurate information.
- Right to portability — a machine-readable copy of what you asked for.
- Right to non-discrimination — exercising these rights never changes your price or your service quality.
How to exercise: email [email protected] from your account address (or be ready for a quick verification if you write from elsewhere — it exists to stop someone else deleting your data). We answer within 45 days. Authorized agents can act for you with a signed permission and proof of identity.
6 — Our role for your business data
The articles, metrics and logs the loop produces about your sites are processed on your behalf and on your instruction: for that data, loopSEO acts as a service provider — we keep it only to run the service for you, don't use it for our own purposes, and don't disclose it except as the law allows.
7 — Retention
Service data lives while your account does; on verified deletion requests it's erased within 30 days. Billing records persist as long as tax law requires. The details are in the Privacy Policy, §9.
8 — Contact and changes
Write to [email protected] for anything CCPA-related. If this notice changes, the date at the top moves and material updates get a notice in-app.
